Silent Auction Rules

By activating an account on Timothy’s Online Outlet and placing one or more bids in Timothy’s Online Outlet Silent Auction, each bidder agrees to these auction rules.
All bids are final and irreversible and each bidder agrees to pay in full for the item(s) they placed the highest bid for.
All sales are final. There will be no exchanges or refunds. All items are “as is.” Timothy Online Outlet has attempted to describe and catalog items correctly, but neither warrants nor represents and in no event shall be responsible for the correctness of descriptions, genuineness, authorship, provenance or condition of the items. No statement made in this catalog, or made orally at the auction or elsewhere, shall be deemed such a warranty, representation, or assumption of liability.
Increase bid amounts must meet the bid increment that is indicated for each item, the increment increase varies by item.
Each buyer is responsible for knowing the fine print of gift certificates or services purchased.
If a buyer has questions about an item, prior to placing a bid, they are responsible to contact the Timothy Online Outlet Silent Auction via email at silentauction@timothyschool.org. Inquiries will be responded to within 24 hours.
Timothy Online Outlet reserves the right to add or withdraw items, without notice, to or from the auction. However, as a courtesy, Timothy Online Outlet will not introduce new items that are duplicates of items listed in ongoing auctions.
For auctions commencing on Friday, October 30, 2020 at 11 am:
- Bidding will close Tuesday, November 10, 2020 at 8 pm.
- If a bid is placed in the last minute of bidding, the dynamic closing feature will be activated - allowing an additional 2 minutes of bidding (extending the closing time).
- Successful bidders will be notified by email about the item(s) they have won
- Full payment must be made prior to item pick up.
- Socially distanced, curbside pick up is being offered on Wednesday, Nov 11 from 1:30 - 2:00 pm in the compound of Timothy Christian School (430 East 25th St, Hamilton) and Thursday, Nov 12 from 7:30 - 8:30 pm. Successful bidders must do their best to adhere to the finalized pick up options but alternate arrangements may be considered on a case by case basis.
